We encourage you to leave comments on PhillyTreeMap. Comments provide additional information about trees and assist in creating a dialogue among users. By participating in the comment area, you, the user, agree to abide by the following terms and conditions.

The comment section on PhillyTreeMap does not serve as a place to report problems with trees including concerns about dead or hazardous trees. To report a possible issue with a tree, please contact your local government. Within the City of Philadelphia, please use the Philly 311 system to report tree problems.

Comments should stay on topic, respect other people's opinions, and avoid profanity and offensive statements.

Comments that post or link to any content that is libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, unlawful, threatening, abusive or vulgar; that is hateful or racially or ethnically objectionable; or that invades another person's privacy are not allowed and will be removed.

Any content posted or linked to in the comment area should not:

• advertise or otherwise solicit funds.
• contain false or misleading information.
• infringe on the intellectual property rights, copyrights, or privacy of any person or entity.
• contain ad hominem (personal) attacks or threats.
• be written in such a way as to falsify the author's identity or impersonate any other person.
• contain viruses, corrupted files, or other material that could harm the PhillyTreeMap website or any other computer system.

PhillyTreeMap enables users to upload images of trees. By uploading images to PhillyTreeMap, you, the user, agrees to abide by the terms stated below.

Images that depict any content that is libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, unlawful, threatening, abusive or vulgar; that is hateful or racially or ethnically objectionable; or that invades another person's privacy are not allowed and will be removed.

• Images should be on topic (i.e. photos of trees or appropriate user account images).
• Individuals should only upload images for which they are the copyright holder or images that are in the public domain. Images found to be violating copyright agreements will be removed.
• By placing images on PhillyTreeMap, individuals recognize that the images may be downloaded or otherwise saved by other individuals who access PhillyTreeMap. PhillyTreeMap is not responsible or liable for any copyright violations resulting from use of images from PhillyTreeMap.
• Images uploaded to PhillyTreeMap may appear in reports, newsletters, emails, and other promotional and informational materials connected to PhillyTreeMap.

The PhillyTreeMap team reserves the right to delete any images for any reason we deem appropriate. We reserve the right to disable the account of any user who repeatedly violates the terms of use regarding uploading imagery. PhillyTreeMap reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice.
